Pancake day, Valentines day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day,
Just one day to celebrate, The things we take, For granted, The days where life's not slanted, It's level it's fine, Just one of these days at a time,
Surely we should be thankful for every day, Every day we wake, The days we are alive and can communicate, The days where the love we can reciprocate, Don't wait,
For the days, Where society says,
We can sit and enjoy, Life as a toy,
One day it'll be broken, The words we wanted to say are never spoken, The love was a gift that we never gave a token, Of our appreciation, Our gratification,
Just because we took our time, Too busy to do anything but whine, Now on our lives the clock has played it's chime,
You never know when your time has finished, One day our clock will be diminished,
Seize the day seize the hour seize the minute, Seize every part of life and all that comes with it,
Don't wait for the "day" appreciate the now, Life has its way of creeping up on you somehow.
