"I don't have any friends...just one" "Your my only friend" I looked at Leo. "We're going to hunt the shadow player down" I said. I hugged Leo, "don't be...dead."
I pulled out my sword, I scanned it over, and practiced a few moves. "Leo!" Leo deflected the shadows sword, and twisted around to strike the mist. The shadow appeared behind him, kicking Leo to the ground. I pulled out my sword. "Go!" I whispered, ushering in front of Leo. The shadow turned into what I feared most, a giant dragon, with green fangs dripping poison. "Brian..." "Brian...I would've guessed Rebecca. It's a good name...and it's for a girl" I growled, and struck at the dragon's neck. It easily swiped me aside, like a light rag doll. Leo jumped onto his feet, letting me sneak up and sink my sword into the dragons side. The dragon hissed in pain, and spread its wing. I took my sword out and dropped down. As the dragon took off. Leo held me. "We're safe" I said. "Brian...I love you" I smiled and put my sword away. The dragon reared back, and plucked Leo from the ground. Halfway on the trail, the dragon turned into a slender elf, that had a sharp sword in its other hand. I raced after them, our blades struck. Lightning flashed, we dodged each others attacks, until I deflected his attack. The side of his blade struck my arm, as I pierced his heart with my sword. I pulled my hair back, looking desperately for Leo. "B-Brian" I grabbed the two swords and rushed over to Leo. There was a gash on his side, and he had already lost lots of blood. I kissed Leo, and placed my hands on his cheeks. "Please...don't die" I whispered. Leo laughed quietly. "I'll be reborn"he said. "Far away..."he sat up against the rock he lay against, clutching his side. "I told you not to die!" He placed his hand on my cheek calmly. He moved forward slowly and kissed me. "Leo" I gripped his hand. He closed his eyes. "Don't be dead..."a tear fell, I let Leo rest down. I went around collecting flowers, the prettiest I could find. Then I put a big rock next to him. And carved: Leo Loving Always
It was a bit sloppy, but it was the most I could do.
"Leo..." I walked away, holding Leo's broken sword in my hand. I threw the shadows sword and mine away. "Leo's sword is all I need" I said. And smiled weakly as Leo's body disappeared from view...
