(Year 6) Dumbledore hadn't sent me much of a present, just spell books I needed. I arrived at Hogwarts 2 weeks early to help Dumbledore with his office, it was a job I normally did every year before school started. "Claire!"mom waved goodbye as I departed with Dumbledore. I was already packed and ready to go. We talked a bit about Harry, and then Dumbledkre brought up horcruxes. "Give it a rest" "Claire"he stared at me sternly. "Harry is a horcrux" Dumbledore looked serious. "So he has to die, so we win the fight?" Dumbledore nodded.
Hogwarts seemed emptier then before, the echoes didn't help the long dark hallways.
We ate at the teacher table in the great hall. The meals were always silent. No one would talk abut Harry's fate.
Dumbledore disapperated and planned to get Harry and recruit Slughorn. I thought of Harry. "He's just a boy! Raised up to be killed!" The words rang in my head. And I collapsed against the table. "Just think of it..."
I lifted my sleeve, the cut was still there. I covered it up quickly as the students arrived. I found all of them. Harry, Hermione, Ron,Luna, Ginny, and Neville. In one big clump, Harry look pained me. "How could you just kill a boy like that?" "Claire?" I smiled, Draco stuck out his foot and tripped me. I reacted easily, I turned around and stuck out of hand behind me. Sending a spell right back at Draco. He let out a yelp, as it missed him a few hours. I stood up, glaring at each other. In no time k had my wand at his throat, his wand was lying unhelpfully on the ground 3 feet away. I let go, and smirked at HIM before joining Harry to go eat.
Ron and Hermione were in a deep conversation about work. The conversation ended with a quick remark from Hermione "your just like Fred and George." "Claire!" Ron squeaked, he cleared a seat for me and Harry. "Ron it's not a surprise to see me. I go to Hogwarts" I said, sitting down.
I unpacked slowly, studying everything I took out. A few textbooks, ink, reading books, and notebooks were usually what filled my trunk.
