The Christmas magic is all around
The tree is up and there's a dusting of snow on the ground
Lights twinkling away
Patch rushing past making the tree sway
The fire is burning, coals ignited
As the words to parts of a Christmas carol are recited
A home filled with Christmas cheer
Time spent with loved ones so dear
A father and daughter spending Christmas together
As everyone moans about the wintery weather!
I've never appreciated Christmas as such
But I'm determined to show I value it so much.
