As I was driving to my ex husbands house to pick my son up all I could think about was Matt, the way he had pulled me in with such strength, the way he pressed his lips against mine. I hadn't felt like this for at least two years.
I turned up my music, drove straight to get my little boy, but even with the distraction of my favourite band I could not get Matt out of my head. I quickly picked up mini man, hardly two words said between me and my ex... Nothing unusual there... He always had been an dick, got into my car and set off home.
It was just after 9pm when I finally plucked up the courage to text Matt, I know he had said call but I could pluck up the confidence to do that.
"Hi it's Izzy, we met earlier at the coffee place. Anyways just thought considering I had your number you should maybe have mine. Izzy x"

"Izzy how on earth would any bloke forget meeting you! Glad you decided to give me your number to. I'm presuming you and your little boy got home safely and I hope you are relaxing now. Matt x"
"Yeah we got home safe and sound, just relaxing after getting my house back to normal. I really enjoyed our chat today. Izzy x"

"I really enjoyed it too we should meet up soon. This may be a little forward but I'd love to pick you up this Saturday and take you out for the night, I have two tickets to see a band in Leeds ... We could make a night of it."
