She was lost in her thoughts Drowning in her mixed up emotions She had tried going through the motions But realised true love is what she sought.
He was there At first to comfort and care But after hours of talking and that stare He finally kissed her ... Right there
She was so confused Heart wanting it so much Mind not ready to take the risk as such Her heart won ... As their lips fused
He said let's try something new Not giving away what he meant He went to his van... And produced a stack of letters he had never sent Reading them one by one, until she finally got the clue
She was fresh from being crushed But the words he read hit her At that moment she realised for him she'd always care But this was 3rd time round, and this time it wasn't to be rushed.
He promised not break her heart She promised it would be a fresh start He promised not to make her move again She promised not to run away again.
As the morning appeared And they sat watching the moon disappear They made one thing very clear To never hide away their deepest fears
