I do love the moon
But the night falls too soon
Yes I love its silver beams on the sand dune
But painful memories start hunting my cocoon
When the night falls, the house goes quiet
Yes candles lit in the room turns darkness bright
But I stay awake till morning light
In my cocoon hiding out of sight
When the moon is up it sometimes makes me blue
Such beauty up there, wish I could share it with you
On my own I do try to just enjoy the view
But I run back to my cocoon, maybe I will fly with the morning dew
