Well yesterday was a great disappointment to me. Not a lot of people went down to continue with the fight/protesting. That is in Cairo. Other cities obviously were on fire but again not alot of media attention was given to other cities. Not sure if people are giving up or they decided to accept the Islamist ruling. Or maybe they want Islamist ruling?? Then why did we kick out the previous president? They are both the same actually but the current one has a beard. Economy hitting rock bottom.
On the other hand, as I live in Zamalek and kids go to school in Maadi (areas in Cairo), I find there is no link between the country and these two places. Tear gas bombs in Tahrir (like 10 min or less from Zamalek) and people screaming while in Zamalek they are happily having lunch out in the sun and walking their dogs. So I am not sure really now what...
And today the court ruled on a case to close YouTube with agreement. That is YouTube will be shut down from Egypt for a whole month. Not really seeing anyone opposing the decision yet. Maybe tomorrow? It's a mean of sharing videos of torture by the government and a lot more. It's not for any government to ban information.
The rich are not getting richer they are living in denial or they left the country a long time ago but the poor are getting poorer and no one is giving a fuck.
