The house is quiet They are all in bed I am supposed to be asleep But I am here instead
I have a long trip in the morning To a sunny place that is never boring I packed the bags and put them by the door But I am still awake. I don't know what for
But the house is quiet and it's so tempting to stay up I found the Glenfiddich bottle so I poured some in a cup And now I don't even want to go to bed I want to stay up and enjoy this alone time instead
I know I will regret this when I wake up But now it's no longer me and a cup The bottle joined in and said what the hell You are going to stay up so we might enjoy the night as well
