Once upon a time there was a princess crying in a castle She would close the door and hide from all the hassle
Then one day her fairy god mother appeared at night "Why are you crying and all alone in your room? That just ain't right"
She confessed her love to Mr. Prince Charming She explained how his behavior is becoming alarming
For after he told her "I love you" He said "I can't go to this ballroom dance with you"
The fairy god mother didn't like what he said "Maybe he wants to go with another instead"
The princess in denial said that can't be true After all he said "I love you"
The fairy god mother tried to tell her he's not true "For if he loves you, he'd want to spend each moment with you"
And she went ahead and shouted the painful truth "I don't think he is yours, you have to cut him loose"
But the princess was so much in denial Cause he has been in her heart for more than a little while
"But you can't go on loving him in vain, His heart is not yours and it will cause you pain"
So the princess just cried and cried till dawn Then before her fairy god mother left she asked if she can make her heart so cold
But the fairy god mother really cared Said "you will love another so don't be scared"
The ballroom dance day was held as planned The princess entered with a cold hand
Looking around for Mr Prince Charming in the crowd Her eyes found him but his eyes were on another
Her heart started screaming but the music was loud She wanted to run for she can't dance with any of the others
But her fairy god mother whispered in her ears "Stay a little and don't give in to your fears"
So she stood in a corner holding the tears in her eyes Thinking I made him my Prince Charming and I believed my own lies
So she looked up letting out a big sigh I will find another for I shall never chase a lie
And when she looked up guess who was in her sight? A handsome prince smiling "Be mine and dance with me tonight."
