Not because I am Egyptian but we always find humor in everything. So the new dictator gave a speech yesterday announcing a state of emergency in the cities that lies on the Suez Canal. Also he applied curfew from 9 pm to 6 am. And of course to make sure that he cancelled anything the revolution achieved he topped it off by bringing back marshal laws all over. Needless to say that after days of violence his first reaction was to tweet (yes twitter) his condolences. But all this and spirits are still high. Thought to share our reaction to his decisions.
- Portsaid (a city) made posters written "This curfew is for your mama" all over
-Ismalia (another city that is filled with football fanatics) decided to hold a football torment starting from 9 pm on the first day
-Suez (the city that gave the first martyr 2 yrs ago) declared that they will stop protesting in the morning and all protests will start at 9 pm till 6 am and they actually did
- Cairo (capital) calling for a curfew like other cities cause they like going down in the street to see what's a curfew
-Couples decided to have their wedding parties as well in different cities that have the curfew holding a poster saying "Wake up Morsi (president) Egyptians don't go to bed at sunset"
-Some are calling for the police to go down to organize traffic cause its getting crowded during the curfew
-In those cities as well they are writing on the tanks "Leave" and army is letting them (might be a good sign?)
-Also in Cairo we are asking the police forces to bring back the old gas bombs in their face (new one really really bad)
-Finally we replied to his twitter with "I'll block you and report you to twitter"
Well there is a lot more but thought to display the Egyptian humor even when their families and friends fall right beside them. I guess it in us all. When we fall we learned to stand tall smiling through it all.
No need for likes or reposts. Just want to share the behind the scenes that you can never capture on TV❤
