What is peace?
It's a question I asked my son
Peace means that no one owns a gun
But how do you see soldiers without guns
I see them at home playing with their families enjoying the sun
So if there were no guns you think it will be peaceful?
No we should also learn to be respectful
What is respect to you?
To stop judging and to others show care and be true
When I say peace what do you see?
I see white and beautiful green trees
So for you nature is peaceful?
Yes a little but we treat it so bad we have to be careful
Why white?
Because it's a color that is so light
What colors do you dread?
I hate red, it means that someone is dead
Can you hear peace?
Yes I hear it when the radio puts on a piano piece
So music puts you at ease?
Yes because I see the notes flying between the trees
Do you see the world now a peaceful place?
No but I might help with some of my ways
What do you do?
I listen, I don't get angry, I recycle and I rest when I need to
When you grow up there will be more on your plate?
I know like working, but you work too much in a job that you hate
We have to work to provide for our family
But we are just 4 what about the bigger family
What do you mean?
Other people living on earth, we eat everyday but some of them bread they have never seen
So what do we do?
Share everything and teach them what to do
You are too young and your life is not complicated
No. You know I am not wrong and I want to know who made yours complicated?
