Promises Death

It breaks my heart to witness this fight on a promised land
Almost a century has gone by and no one is still taking a stand
Death is now only a number on the daily news
Leaders are watching the war waiting for someone to lose

Who has the right to own this place?
Both books declared it ages ago
And the present we refuse to face
Nothing is going to change if we all keep our head low

I can't claim I have the answer to this specific case
I just don't believe in a promised land that promises death to a certain race

@TheCodsPollocks I honestly have no clue a lot of political analysis crap is all over the news and they ignoring the souls that have been lost which makes it sadder. I don't even think "the land" is even rich with any natural resources. They r following the command given to them hundred of years ago blindlyπŸ˜”

I think we should remember that it was under ottoman rule for 400+ years where Palestinians lived the Israelis decided they should have the land (even tho they were scattered throughout Europe and Russia they occupied and stole land which didn't belong to them πŸ˜“
