Silver Movements

She wore a cape to the ball to conceal her wings but still no one asked her to dance she went onto the balcony & there staring wistfully at the sky she noticed some far shapes passing before the moon. A feather fluttered down to her and tied to it was a note that read "Come join us" so she did, and met others like herself and waltzed all night with them among the stars and they only came back down at sunrise to buy hot bread at the bakery and eat it perched in the tree tops laughing.
