Night Skies 5
I'm staring out into the darkness tonight.
It's amazing and still.
As I'm wondering,
Why does everything in life seem to subside and
all its trivial nonsense is proved to be just that-
meaningless.
I'm gazing into the battered night sky and
everything and anything that I thought
mattered is heightened..
I keep playing a song over and over
and I keep staring so blankly
out into nothingness.
Comfort and acceptance is mine.
As the stars do nothing to set my soul at ease
yet they have solved every single problem
I've ever had..
My mind speaks freely into the night
and the darkness is amazing.
