- A version that was meant To be sung- The sun goes down, The stars come out and all that counts is here and now, I'm glad you came, So spend the time with me because time is slipping away, Stay with me here and now, The time I have with you is just so little be means so much to me, I'm glad you came, My universe will never be the same, Take my hand and sit with me on the sand and lets look up at the sky and look for shooting stars and wish for more time because my time is slipping away and I just want to spend this time with you, I'm glad you came.
... John died the next morning, He was Diagnosed with pancreas cancer, The doctors said he had less then a few days to live. He spent the last day with me on the beach looking up at the sky. He died in my arms, He kept it a secret from me. His family told me about it and how I was someone special to him in his life.
