Hi Folks,
Have been seeing a lot a chatter back and forth these last few days and just wanted to give you a quick update. As you know Opuss is a young kitten, and we've seen some tremendous talent on the platform.
The more I thought about it I realised you are all Opuss ambassadors. Every. One. Of. You. To your friends, to your peers, to random strangers.. to anyone who is just seeing or getting exposed to Opuss.
We're working hard to make this to the best place to write, read and share words. We don't have the resources yet to step with a formal community manager, but many of you individually have stepped up to the plate, in the form of competitions, challenges and of course support.
It's amazing and heart warming to see this.
Keep it up.
We're aware that some of you have chosen to do this as alter egos, to protect your main identity, to reflect a different style and genre of Opuss that you may write or just to keep a lower profile. We respect this.
I will say however that what makes you all so talented is the quality of your writing. Aliases and egos aside, your writing is your fingerprint and in a way it's a complement that others recognise this.
This is all evolving so I wanted to offer a few guidelines that I hope you feel are useful;
Support words, support creativity and support ideas. It's hard sometimes to separate the individual from the Opuss - but please if writing about an individual keep it supportive.
