Story Plot Idea #1

A story about a man who wakes up in a world where the economy is based on chocolate. Its to be established that eating chocolate is something only the very wealthy do. Big chocolate manufacturers become the richest organisations ever. The currency must have an official stamp from cadburys, nestle, linde (worth LOADS btw), thorntons, etc.
The protagonist will be manager of a chocolate shop (now banks) but he will obviously have no idea whats going on. He begins to freak out and start thinking he's hallucinating. He goes on a mission to uncover his last memories... Retrace his steps... But in a world where chocolate can cause great happiness and great evil. The protagonist visits an old friend, who tells him that he is in a coma from which he will never come out of- and if he does, he will be completely disabled. He also tells him that his family have decided to turn off his life support. The protagonist, obviously in shock, asks his friend how he got here. He replies 'you had a severe allergic reaction to an ingredient of a chocolate bar you were eating. It caused you massive brain damage- it's a miracle youre still alive.' He tells him that it's convenient that he's come to see him now, because he has 2 minutes before the life support turns off. The protagonist takes all the chocolate in his pockets and starts shoving it in his mouth, collapsing to the floor 2 minutes later.
