One Last Kiss

'I have to go' he says softly,
I narrow my eyes,
Feeling the lump in my throat,
Lugubriousness washes over me,
My hot tears are pouring down my cheeks,
'No this can't be!' I declare,
'You can't leave me here'
I start to shout,
'NO!'

He lunges for me,
Cradling me is his strong arms,
'Im sorry' he whispers,
'I'll never forget you'
I feel his hot salty tears pouring down his face into mine,
Then his lips meet mine,
There warm,
And sweet,
They taste of mint,
And are as plush as a pillow,
'Hey are you coming?'
The flight attending asks tapping him on the shoulder,
We brake away from our embrace,
He puts me down,
'I love you'
He assures,
One last tear falling down his cheek as he wipes mine away,
And he walks away leaving me behind,
I break down in the middle of the air port,
And start walking to my mothers car.
