Her lungs breathed poetry
I remember the day she came to me
She had my heart running freely
So soulful and soft
She was so distinct just floating like a moth
Thoughts of marriage began to cause doubt
Immediately scared I felt myself re route
My dove left and the pain remained unclaimed
Full of confusion and fear I write this poem remembering memories over a beer
