On a day quite like this
Two summers ago
I met a young girl
Who's name I don't know
She had wavy white hair
And was quite small in size
But it was not only this
That came as surprise
Her face, at first shadowed
By her floppy white fringe
Was soon brushed clear
By a blow from the wind
And under that hair
Was some stunning blue eyes
Like the bright ocean water
Or the cloud clear blue skies
But although they were pretty
They were sorrowful too
What had turned them that colour?
What had them them so blue?
Crying and sobbing?
Pictures of pain?
Maybe all those above
I wish I knew her name...
