Knowing that I'm scared is one thing, Understanding why I'm scared is another. Why must it all be so difficult? It should not be that hard.
Saying you're there is one thing, Being there is another. Why would you say it if you didn't mean it? It shouldn't be that hard.
Trying to care is one thing, Showing that you care is another. Why do you even try to care? It shouldn't be that hard.
Pretending to be confident is one thing, Self-esteem is another. Why can it have either of them? It shouldn't be that hard.
