Today I am quiet Today I am calm Today my mind is open To what is missing.
Today I am silent, Today i am at peace, my thoughts are softer than a blanket of fleece.
Today I am pensive, Today I am inspired, even though my body is tired.
No matter how hard I try it, to at least get excited, my voice is still undecided:
To speak or not to speak, to sit and not cry, at the absence of a lover, my emptines high. I pick up a pen, i pitch up a tent, a little solitary sanctuary where i can peacefully vent.
Today i need peace, Today i need quiet, but i will not get that, no matter how hard i try it.
