Bare Naked Faces

I started a hashtag almost a year ago called #barenakedfaces on instagram and I'd like to start it up again. I saw so many beautiful people, men and women alike always hiding from the camera with filters, edits, added lashes, weird faces, too much makeup all afraid of what they might see in an honest photograph.
I believe in my heart that every human being walking the earth is beautiful. Every human being alive has something to offer and nothing to hide.

• Take a look at yourself in your flawless natural beauty and revel in the confounding reality that you don't need anything extra to make you beautiful. Smile, laugh stare at the camera, at yourself.

• Snap a photo of yourself in that moment.

• Post this picture on instagram and tag it #barenakedfaces & @shellysunshine.

• Tell me something you love about yourself and tell me something you love about your face/body in the un-filtered, un-edited, makeup-less, crazy face-less photo you post.

I want this idea to go viral. this is not a project for vanity. This is the movement for self-love and affirmation.

How comfortable will you be not hiding when you realize you're perfect the way you are?
