Darkness

Blinding darkness
Through the trees.
Gently putting
Life at ease.
Taking away
All selfish sorrow,
Giving reason
To tomorrow.
Stopping lies
From coming out.
Stopping sight
That makes you shout.
Concealing pain
When it makes a mark,
There is no terror
In the dark.
