Life

The promises died in his icy white breath,
He sat there and waited for her nearing death.

She told him she loved him and she didn't mind,
She only felt guilty for leaving him behind.

He wandered and waited waiting to be told,
But he only felt his promises dying in the cold.

He froze at his surrender then uttered another lie,
"What if I lose you in heaven, later when I die?"

So he took a deep breath in the night,
And sighed in smoky white.

He reviewed his painful, worthless life,
Then took if swiftly with a knife.

_/\_On The Rocks_/\_

High above the turquoise sea. Winds blow strong. Seagulls flee. Watching as the sky turns grey. Storm clouds brew. I sit and stay. On the rocks, hard and cold. My heart feels young. My body old.

Lay Her Body Down

Lay her body down. My love so beautiful that even death cries for her its sickly stain keeping the decay away. Tears fall from the sky as my soul pours from the mirror of our emotion. Can you feel it.

Bleeding Out

Breathing liquid, warm & red. Tears & blood shed. Bled into the earth. Thriving & thieving of the hurt. Bleeding life back into the dirt. Lifting the suns rays dusk till dawn.
