from a dear friend of mine visiting Washington D.C.
"DC is the most oxymoron place on earth. Everywhere you go there are magnificent buildings made of marble, granite and stone but yet there are homeless people everywhere. These rich selfish bastards have no soul and it seems like their only goal is more for them and less for everyone else. Fore some strange reason I thought that a trip to DC would help me reconnect with my patriotism for this country but it has seemed to do the opposite. Seeing the condition of this city has only proven that there are poor and rich in this country and nothing in between. But that's the way they want it. This sad but true fact had been confirmed."
