for those out there that worship this author, their philosophy, and the rhetoric it has caused, read this.

in no way am i seeking to diminish their contribution to the literary world. what i do seek is to underscore that keynesian economics are wrong.

that doesnt mean that capitalism is wrong. the way capitalism is being leveraged against all of the inhabitants of this planet, is wrong. the philosophy driving it is wrong. it is naive to think that we, as a species, are ready to treat all equally.

does that mean we can not eliminate poverty? it is estimated to cost $30,000,000,000 to feed every person of this planet healthy, wholesome food for an entire year.

that much money is spent on war every 8 days. you can not, in a true free society, force ethical standards of practice. the inherent problem with american capitalism is that if a profit can be made, someone will do that thing that is profitable. the market itself is not a free market.

3 industries effectively get to dictate what will and will not succeed as business. rest assured that if it does not benefit those industries, or is a threat to those industries, a particular industry will not survive.

one can call this economic darwinism. for that to be true, there would have to be no interference from the industry leaders and the markets would determine what businesses would be successful.

in short, keynes was wrong. so was ayn rand.
