You may think I'm crazy when I talk to the wall.
Or think that I'm scruffy because my pants are to small.
You'll point and you'll frown when I root in the bin,
Then you notice my clothes and smirkily grin.
You'll look down as I sleep at the side of the path,
For months iv not washed I long for a bath.
You may think I'm dirty and scruffy and all,
But behind the scenes you didn't see my life fall.
Because what you don't know is my life is hell,
I cry at night, but never will tell.
My house it caught fire it burnt to the ground, my family went with it, I wasn't around.
I come home to see my life up in flames, my family inside I'm screaming their names.
My whole life in that moment was flipped upside down, once a respected father and now just a clown.
So before you point and laugh at my cry, know that your life could change in the blink of an eye.
