That fateful eve on a stormy night
Winds billowing with ferocious howls
Wrapped in garments of dark wool
I found the old sage in shadow's shroud
Under mysterious shade of the baobab tree
His Cold eyes aflame like fire and ice
I made my bow, he held his gaze
Revealed to me things unknown
The old sage, he preached and warned
About this forlorn, forsaken world
I can't forget, long as I live
Those wise words of the old Sage
When he taught me things unknown
About the dark truths of these evil times
These he taught me, and many such 'lore
Wherever I am, whatever I do
I shall carry these treasured thoughts
From moments on a fateful night,
Of dark storms and billowing winds,
Of wise words from the old Sage
When he taught me things unknown
About this forlorn, forsaken world
Wrapped in his garments of dark wool
Deep deep under shadow's shroud.
