in it's soothing glow.
Upon my naked skin I can feel the night as it gently blows.
Chinese whispers are carried exploding on the breeze.
They tell me to let go and to set all my inhibitions free.
I step forward and take my bow in awe of its silvery beam.
My body awakens dancing along to its enchanting theme.
Tendrils from the shadows replicate my movements.
My dance rebels against the day and all of it's judgements.
The night accepts me embracing all of my imperfections.
It's the keeper of my soul and holds over me no restrictions.
Long into the night I dance to the moonlights merry tune.
My only disappointment is that daylight will come too soon.
