I had such a great day with pressies galore

But my favourite was the paper scattered on the floor

I've decided that most of my family are quite crazy

And when it comes to cooking Grandads very lazy

Everyone wore the silliest of hats

And I busied myself terrorising the cat

I had Lots of kisses and warm snuggly cuddles

But Grandmas poor house had so many muddles

I had some food I think it was called turkey and sprouts

For Mummy probably a nasty surprise in my nappy no doubt

Then more people arrived and it got very loud

So Daddy rescued my delicate ears from that awful sound

We played together with my new toys just the two of us

Laughed and had cuddles away from all the fuss

But then I got tired and wanted my own home

So now I'm off to dreamland where I'm free to roam.
