To the world I'd give the gift of peace For smiles to take over and wars to cease
To those who are struck with poverty I'd give them the gift of wealth and equality
Those who are hungry, food would be plenty Their stomachs would be full and never again empty
Every child would receive the gift of love Inner beauty realised allowing them to soar high like a dove
The homeless wouldn't spend nights on the street They'd been given food and shelter and not judged by those they meet
To humanity I'd give the gift of tolerance Prejudices expelled compassion would be free flowing in abundance
To the politicians they'd have the ability to tell the truth No more lies to the masses, equality to all and backed up with proofs
The insecure would get the gift of self respect So they could reach their full potential and know that they are blessed
I no longer what to hear the worlds sadness as it screams I'd give everyone the gift of happiness so we can all fulfil our dreams.
