#description (sort of, sorry got carried away)
I awoke from my sleep rubbing my eyes, the sun was shining but it was a much brighter glow than I'd ever noticed before. It coated my room with a golden hue.
Stepping onto the thick warm carpet, I made my way to my bedroom door, and opening it I couldn't believe the magical sight that greeted my eyes, was I still dreaming?
I should've been greeted by the hallway that led to the stairs but instead before me stood a beautiful forest....
Trees with golden branches and trunks, leaves replaced by large glistening emeralds that sparkled in the light. The flowers that scattered the luscious green grass were all the colours of the rainbow a beautiful spectrum of colours, like an artists painting palette.
I was in awe of this place and decided to venture deeper. Ahead of me I could just make out something moving as if it was a sheet blowing in a summer breeze, getting closer I could see it was a beautiful butterfly almost as big as me. "Can you help me please" startled I realised it wasn't just a large butterfly but it could speak!
"I seem to have caught my wing" it was then I realised it had just emerged from its copper coloured cocoon, and what a cocoon it was, it was studded with diamonds and precious gems of all shapes, colours and sizes.
"Oh, yes of course" I replied gently easing the corner of its wing out.
"Thank you, you are most kind" it replied, "I wish all humans were as kind as you, but sadly so many of us insects and animals are dying out due to the carelessness of your kind" and the butterfly began to weep.
I asked "what is this place?" "This is a forest that contains every species of animal, every kind of mineral and precious gems, flowers, plants, and trees, it's sacred to us and untouchable from mankind, but every now and again a special one from your kind is permitted access"
