Always sent me to sleep with a song.
The love you gave overflowed but you still gave me the space to grow.
You taught me to believe in ME, knowing one day you'd need to set me free.
You've always been my bestfriend, my tears and hurt you still know how to mend.
Teaching me to always love and care, and no matter what little I had, to always share.
You have strength and determination, if you had your way, you would nurture a nation.
You've loved me with all of your heart, and been their for me right from the very start.
Your the best Mum, Grandmother ever, I love the time the three of us spend together.
We haven't always seen eye to eye, many times you've thrown that 'look' followed by "why"
But you know that I love you with all my heart, when it comes to being a mother you OWN the part.
