Mince pies! What can I say

Nothing much except throw them away

I would leave them out for the birds

But they will probably get runny turds

Or feed them to a mouse

But not sure he'll get it in his house

Could give them to a neighbour

But who knows when I might need a favour

Carol singers even turn up their nose

And what about my poor Aunt Rose,

Last year they made her so very sick

She thought from the clock she'd heard her final Tick!

So these ghastly things are off my list

And I can honestly say they won't be missed.
