I placed a quarter in the slot. I reached over and pulled down the lever slowly. I watched as the numbers flashed on the screen over and over. Slowly they stop one at a time. 7......7.......7! I can't believe my eyes! I actually won something! I am the lucky winner of 5 whole dollars ! It might not seem like much to anyone around me but to me I hit the lottery big time. You see I'm poor. I don't own anything but my life. This 5 dollars can buy me a hamburger. This 5 dollars can last me a week. Thanks lucky quarter. I'll be back next week.
