I have just read this in a book and just had to get it out to a wider audience. It echoes my feelings entirely.
"Our education system uses the 'left hemisphere' approach, because it's aim is far from developing talents and skills. The system forces children to study homework and keep reporting without fail. It's intention is not aimed at obtaining knowledge, but at reporting correctly."
