He came upon the midnight air
That gentle giant in red
His beard all white and snowy
Bringing presents in his stead
Rudolph's in a right old sulk
And won't play the game at all
So all the other reindeer have to bring him lots of treats
To see if he'll give in and eventually play ball
The sleigh takes off all wobbly
And just misses a chimney pot
As good old Mrs Stevens
Goes to bed, nine on the dot
The snow is falling softly now
The last present's under the tree
And santa's for his soft old bed
And a nice big cup of tea!
