~Lexi's POV. "Good morning." Rain appeared from behind the door of the bus. Jacob rolled his eyes while he sat on the couch waiting patiently. Rain raised her eyebrow. "Well shit, good morning to you too." and walked over to her bunk. "What's your problem?" I demanded for Jake to tell me. "Nothing. Now let's get ready first sound check." He snapped and got up and walked outside. I groaned and laid back on the couch. All I wanted to do was see Tony because last night was perfection. Rain came out from the lounge wearing black skinny jeans and a WCAR hoodie. "Where's Jacob?" "Outside. Probably smoking." I shrugged. "He's a bit uptight this morning." "A bit?" She kicked a pillow on the floor up and caught it to throw it on the couch. "Cass and Taylor?" "Coffee run." I closed my eyes and sighed. "How was your night with Jaime?" I smiled. "Amazing." She sighed happily. "Let's go. I don't wanna give Jacob another reason to be an asshole this morning." I got up to the lounge and changed into my blue skinnies and drop dead sweater. "Let's go." I motioned towards the door. We walked out to see Jacob sitting by the bus smoking and on his phone. "Cass and Taylor are on their way." he said ever so calmly like nothing happened. I looked at Rain confused and she shrugged her shoulders and took out a cigarette. I sat down next to the bus and pulled out my phone to check the bands twitter. "Show tonight in Phoenix! So excited to play the first show on the tour!" I typed and hit send, looked up to see Cass and Taylor make their way up to us. Cass happily held the holder of our cups and held it out to us. "Here you go!" I grabbed my frappe and sipped it. "Thank you, Cassieee." I smiled. "You hear from Jeremy last night?" She nodded and smiled brightly. "Talked for a while." "Glad you're feeling better." I laughed and got up from the ground. "We have practice/ first sound check here in an hour I think." Jacob spoke out calmly. He pretty much organized and kept this band in check. He was more serious about it than anything. Jacob looked up from his phone and glanced behind me. He rolled his eyes slightly when going back to his phone. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "Goodmorning." I turned around to see Tony smiling at me. He looked tired. "Goodmorning to you." I said. "How'd you sleep?" "Horrible." He pouted. "You should have cuddled with me." "Oh, boo hoo." I kissed him quickly and laughed. He snaked his arms around me tighter pulling me closer to him. I stayed there leaning into his chest. "First big show." I shivered. "Don't worry about it." He looked down at me. "You'll do amazing." "Goodmorning!" I heard a high voice behind me. I turned to see Kellin smiling big at us. "Goodmorning Kellin." I laughed and held onto Tony. "I can't wait to finally hear you sing! And your band play." He highfived me. I smiled and saw Gabe standing behind him with annoyed look on his face. "Umm." I bit my lip and shuffled my feet nervously. Kellin shrugged and shook his head. He turned around and saw Rain and Cass smiled big and went over to them. Gabe looked at us turned to the side and I heard him mumble "Mexican prick" under his breath and turned to Jacob. I frowned and looked at Tony. "Are you sure you don't wanna tell me?" I spoke softly. "I don't want you caught up in this, Lexie." He frowned and kissed my head. I shrugged and broke free of his grasp. "I'm gonna go wander around for a while, see the town, I don't know." I smiled and held his hands. "Alright, don't wander too far, little girl." He grinned at me and chuckled. I kissed him and smiled big. "Don't worry about me." I turned away and started heading out to the streets. I decided to pull out my phone and text Jacob telling him where I was at. I tried to use this time to think and be alone. I found an ally with the best graffiti and decided to sit down. I flipped through my phone looking at started song lyrics for writing and tried to sing softly to myself for a while. I was editing lyrics and singing for about 20 minutes until I finally reached something I liked. I starting to sing and tap the ground for a good beat. "Wow you're really good." I heard a voice call from next to me. I looked over to see Gabe standing at the end of the alley. I raised an eyebrow. "Ah, thanks?" I chuckled nervously. "What are you doing here?" He shrugged, "I was just in town and I heard your voice, turned out to be you." "Oh." I rose to my feet and dusted off my jeans. "Well I better get going.." "Wait, your name is Lexi right?" He stalled me. I nodded once and smiled kindly. "Yes sir." He walked closer to me. "I see. Well I'm sorry we haven't actually talked like this sooner." he smirked. My stomach did a flip and I felt a bit worried for a minute. What the hell was he doing? "I uh-, yeah." I shuffled my feet looking down. "Hey, we'll talk later? I gotta get to first sound check and practice." I said smiling a bit. "Yeah." he chuckled. "Later." I waved a quick goodbye and quickly walked back down to the lot where our busses were parked. I hopped onto our bus and sat down on the couch where Taylor was and Jacob popped out of the back lounge. "Way to disappear, Lexie, it's almost time!" "I know! I know! Fucking shit, lets just go!" I rolled my eyes and got back up rising from my chair and walked out of the bus. What the fuck was Jacob's problem today? I swear. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ~Rain's POV. Cass and I were already at the venue setting up things when Lexie stormed through the door with a scowl on her face. "You okay?" I asked. "I'm fine." She grabbed a microphone and started to set it up. We didn't need much crew help, we were perfectly capable of setting things up ourselves. We had about two people on crew and sound but that's it. Adrianna wasn't going to be working merch for the first couple shows and was going to fly out later on. I looked back to the doors letting the day light in where Jacob and Taylor casually walked in and came onto stage helping set up. After we were finished I sat behind my drums waiting for a queue and we started playing a few of our songs. In the middle of our 3rd song Jaime walked in the doors and smiled right at me. He stood in the way back quietly and watched as I played. Lexie looked back at me still singing and gave me a wink before she turned back to focus and went into her screaming. The song ended and Jacob quickly butted in before I could get up. "We're playing through our whole set right?" He made sure. Lexie shrugged and rolled her eyes. "I guess." I looked back at Jaime frowned and he mouthed "You're amazing." I smiled big and shrugged. "Thank you." I mouthed back. Jacob looked back at me and gave me my queue and I turned back to my drums and started to play again. * * * * * * "Babe! You're amazing!" Jaime held onto my hands and smiled big at me. "Thank you." I smiled. Sleeping with Sirens was pea ting their set so I had some time to spend with Jaime. We sat outside on the sidewalk his arm around me. I took off his beanie and started to pet his hair. "Your hair is soft. Like a kitty." He chuckled and pushed the hair out of my face. "So you have a thing for my hair now?" "Pretty much." I attempted to put the beanie back on but instead pulled it all the way over his eyes. "Not cool." he frowned then laughed. I smiled and he attempted to kiss me but missed and got my nose. "Don't kiss my nose!" I pouted. "Not my fault." he grinned and put his beanie on right. "It's cute though." I shook my head and looked up at him. He reached his hand over to touch one of my cheeks. "Gah, you're just cute, beautiful." I smacked his hand away. "You're a liar." I laughed. He shook his head. "Not at all, dear."
