Satanic cackles erupted from Goliath's throat as he entered the mossy den, his yellow eyes locked onto the two small she wolves. "Take one step closer and I'll tear you to pieces" Atari said, coming out in front of her mother and growling at Goliath. He sneered at her, stalking closer and closer. Atari stood her ground, lashing her white tail furiously from side to side. "Back off". Goliath only laughed, getting ready to pounce. Atari's mother trembled behind her, her body weak from illness. Atari suddenly convulsed disturbingly, her body contorting into various unnatural positions. "Not now!" she screeched, gritting her teeth. Goliath looked on, confused and perturbed. "What is she doing?" he asked, demanding an answer. Her mother blinked her eyes. "'tis the demon inside of her." her mother replied bluntly, her expression unreadable. Atari rose to her feet, and her eyes had become a startling black. Her jowls lifted up into an evil growl and revealed a set of bone breaking fangs. Goliath began to back away, his claws tapping on the smooth surface of the stone. To his surprise, Atari whipped around, turning on her mother. Her mother did not look surprised, and seemed to accept her fate. In a matter of a seconds, she was heading into a different world. Blood decorated the walls of the cave and Ataris white fur. The stench of it was disgusting, and Goliath was now a dot in the distance. Ataris eyes returned to their natural blue, and her body collapsed to the floor from exhaustion.Tears rolled down her cheeks. She had just killed her mother, and there was nothing she could do to change it.

Atari blinked open her eyes. No matter how much she tried to forget what had happened, it just kept flooding back into her dreams and plaguing them with the devastation of what she had done. She was breathing hard. She had been crying throughout the night. It had been several months since it had happened, and still it replayed everyday in her memory. It was as if the demon was doing it on purpose, to destroy her sense of reality.

Pulling herself to her feet, she padded silently through the meadow, having to be constantly on the move. Word had spread of the murder of Blossom, Ataris mother, and the mysterious daughter who was possessed and dangerous. Many a time, specially trained wolves had come to kill her, and sometimes Atari had narrowly escaped. She had took it upon herself to seek the help of Jeremiah, an old wolf skilled in the arts of assassination. Having no opinion of Atari because of what she had done, he had trained her daily. Atari had then developed into a beautiful Assassin, even performing a few tasks for Jeremiah. She was well suited to it, being slim and petite. Once she was thoroughly prepared, she said goodbye to Jeremiah in search of a new land; sick of being hunted as prey.

The meadow Atari travelled in seemed never ending, but the abyss beyond the tall grass looked inviting and undisturbed. Atari stopped beside a puddle and gazed at her reflection. Staring back at her was her white face, and her unusual black markings surrounding her eyes that looked like mascara that had run in the rain. They made her look very sad and depressed. Pretty much like her current mood really.
