As the crowd goes mad They glitter and shine The queen seems sad But everyone's just fine
Applause shout and cheer the world has gathered today Finally 2012 Olympics are here Its quite an atmosphere I must say
As the worlds come to a stand still If you're not there your TVs on It's just down the road but don't seem real Time flies, soon they'll be all gone
The breeze wraps me up in a daze My fingers clenching the window frame It's something special everyone says Funnily I feel weirdly the same
I peep through the tree in the distance A twinkling stadium I find The stars are shining and dancing Whilst my hair plays with the wind
My tiptoes are tired Of holding me high I'll never get bored of soaring this sky I can sense the rush of amazement through everyones silence Hello world - let the #Olympics commence !!!
