Velvety earth underneath my flaming soles,
Sprinkled wet with raindrops full of sorrows;
Amidst unripe carpets of hissing bluegrass,
Shivery air; brackish sudor turned crystals.
Heeding to the hymns of guiding sparrows,
To where it leads appears opaque and narrow;
Nimbus shifts to darkest as I glance farther,
Yet no storm nor space shall cause me to falter.
Clasped with haloed eagles, enticed by majestic robes;
Vanished with no traces towards a carved golden throne.
Jar of rainbows broken, signet rings consumed by rust;
Forsaken and forgotten, betrothment turned to dust.
The road onwards seeming endless, wearying to tread;
Yet my wishings remain, as solemn prayers are said --
Our paths to cross, eyes to meet, lips once again to kiss;
Souls, hearts entwined -- a journey to everlasting bliss.
