As moonshine kisses my window pane, I speak of weariness in purple sighs. While stars paint the gloomy sky, I recline; Daylight has locked my lips to a frown. Body and spirit drenched in bitter sweat, Burning lids meet to halt the few tears left. An intimate scent creeps; Arms, sturdy, Reach out and encompass my whole, Yet so gentle to console me. Whispering words of love so deep, Your soft touch gives a soothing relief From distress, Liberating me from stress; I forgo of any uncertainties, Worries drowned by your passionate kiss; Sweet lover's lullaby that takes me to sleep, Furnishing me with a feeling serene.
