The heart wants what it wants,

The eye sees what it sees,

The world keeps on turning now, no it doesn’t turn for me,

I wish I had a say in what’s going around me,

But then I would drown from all the responsibility,

Ain’t it funny how it’s always incomplete; the sweetness in our lives,

But I refuse to lose hope and perish among all the lies,

If there is a light inside me I will ignite it to shine the world,

Because I know I’m here for a reason,

Stronger than all the dark stories I’ve been told,
