I started as an unknown,
Longing to write with the best.
Inspiration then started to flow,
Poetry became an enjoyable test.
I've learnt a whole lot about myself,
I'll never be the same again.
Been in the top twenty for a while now,
Not gonna pretend that I want it to end.
I guess I just needed a rest,
I'm no longer feeling depressed,
Got a lot of things of from my chest.
My feelings are no longer repressed
So its time to start writing,
It feels so exciting,
I'm renewed with a freshness and zest.
No longer self fighting,
I'm letting the light in,
I'll pursue to be the bestest of best.
