Rosie ran outside, into the snow. As she ran, all of her worries flew away. It fell, glittering gently to the ground. Rosie reached out to touch it. Right as her hand was about to touch its magnificent beauty, she was awoken.
She didn't want to wake up. She wanted the dream to be true. She knew, however, that she couldn't bask in it's glory for the rest of her life.
She began to get ready fir her day as a herb gatherer. She dreaded each day more than anything. Her only comfort lay in her friend.
Her world is not like ours, you see. Children begin work at age 13. There was no snow or rain. Those were only things that you would dream and read about. Things that could only be felt by your mind.
Every day in the Blig, you would go hungry. Mia tried as best as she could to make enough money to buy food for her younger sister, Millie.
They lived on there own, you see. Both of their parents died when Millie was just one, and Rosie was just five.
Rosie missed them dearly, and still had nightmares about the day they died. They died in the
Nevermore callings.
Every year a champion is called upon to try and defend the country and they try to beat all the monsters. If they succeed their name go's down in history.
No one yet has succeeded. Yet every year they do it, because the spirits of the unknown send new monsters every year.
Rosie was running to the Wild Meadow to find herbs. On her way there she ran into her best friend, Gallina. Gallina's basket dropped to the ground. Little wooden carvings and paintings fell out.
"sorry," said Rosie. I was trying to get to the meadow as fast as possible, and I didn't look where I was going.
"that's quite all right" Gallina sounded in a bit of a rush, though.
