The floorboards creak loudly above my head as I keep on hiding from the strangers who have just recently ruined my life by entering our home unexpectedly.
I could hear the door open as it hits the ringing bells above the door. That was followed by a loud gun shot. I went straight to the emergency room.(a small room under the house, which no one but my Mum, Dad, and I knew about)
I was running to the emergency room not daring to look back to see if anyone was following me. As I arrive I lock the door quickly.
"Ohh shit. What about Mum?!" I thought and tears appeared in my eyes as I hear a scream and then a loud gunshot straight after that.
I was the only one left in our family. . .
