Vengeance is not pretty.
Taking revenge on somebody shows that you are no better than the one who hurt you.
If we sow violence we'll also reap violence, like the saying goes - Those who live by the sword will fall by the sword.
Instead, let's forgive and pursue peace, this shows a far greater strength than paying them back.
Vengeance is not ours -
"Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord." (Rom. 12:19)
