I wanted to be a princess

And I wanted to love you too,

But when I went to find myself,

I took a plane and I flew.

The weight of leaving you behind made me weak but kept me strong

I made it halfway to Paris before I realized I'd been gone too long.

So I turned around to see if you were waiting at the shore

Turns out when you leave somebody behind, they don't want you anymore.
